Save the Date! Language of Food: Traditions of Ukraine Feb. 5
Check and mark your calendars! NWLA’s acclaimed Language of Food Series continues with Traditions of Ukraine, now rescheduled from January 22nd, to February 5th, 2011 from 6pm-9pm.
In collaboration with the Ukrainian American Club of Washington, the evening will include performances by members of the dynamic Ukrainian dance ensemble, Barvinok, and children’s ensemble, Sonechko; choral performance by Ukrainian choir, Serpanok; and music by the Nadia Tarnawsky group. Ticket price includes all performances as well as a delicious, memorable Ukrainian feast.
Before the event, from 2pm-5pm, join NWLA for a fun and educational cooking class and take home the practical secrets of Ukraine’s healthy, hearty culinary heritage.
Both the event and cooking class will be held at the new NWLA Cultural Center in Langley, WA. Inquire about our overnight accommodations!
