Our Language of Food Series continues in April with an alluring taste of the vast mystery and enchantment of India! Begin the journey with a cooking class (2pm – 5pm), exploring the healing herbs and spices of time-honored Ayurvedic culinary traditions. Stay on to experience the exquisite flavors and textures of a traditional, home cooked Indian banquet (6pm – 7pm). Feast your senses on classical and modern Indian music and dance as the evening entertainment unfolds (7pm – 9pm). Delight in special surprises, door prizes and merriment (anytime!).

Dr. Virender Sodhi and his wife Reika will be leading the one-of-a-kind Ayurvedic cooking class. Among the vibrant cast of performers, we are honored to host Vidyalakshmi Vinod from the Nrityalaya School of Dance.

As our collaborators for this event, we are pleased to welcome members of the India Association of Western WA (IAWW), and the Indian cultural organization, Pratidhwani, who are excited to showcase the multifaceted traditions of their homeland.
