Registration is now open for “Une Tournée en Provence,” a French immersion workshop, the first in a series of weekend intensives for intermediate and advanced French students. These interactive and lively programs will guide you into furthering conversation skills, building up vocabulary in a variety of practical situations, and expanding your cultural awareness while exploring the unique regions of France.
Programs are led by the charming and enthusiastic Marion Bouscarle of Écoles Franco-Américaine du Puget Sound, who grew up in the South of France, one of its most historically and culturally rich areas. Marion is passionate about sharing her heritage, and a supportive and creative educator. Her diverse interests and expertise include cooking, literature, theater and circus productions, singing, photography and filmmaking. Get ready for a lot of fun!
Activities include cultural presentations in French, video clips, group discussions, vocabulary drills, games, movement, cooking together, and home assignments.
Format: 12 hours of immersive instruction over 4 days (3 hrs/day)
Dates: November 9th & 10th and December 7th & 8th, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day
